Tech Diving in Truk Lagoon
Swimming through the wrecks of Chuuk Lagoon was more than a dive, it was stepping into history. Inside the wrecks, the outside world disappears for a while. The silence, the rusted metal, the filtered light, it all creates a feeling of awe and deep respect for the stories hidden beneath the surface.

Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain
One of the highlights of my visit to Cadillac Mountain was the stop near the summit where visitors can leave their cars and follow a short walking path to even better views. For some it may be an easy stroll. For me it was a bit of a challenge.
When I reached the overlook, the views made every effort worthwhile. Standing there, looking out over Acadia's rocky coastline, forests, and ocean, I was reminded that some of the best experiences happen just beyond our comfort zone.

Weekend Getaway in Bar Harbor, Maine
One of my favorite memories from Bar Harbor wasn't a famous landmark or scenic overlook - it was a quiet evening on the front porch of the White Columns Inn. With a glass of wine, a plate of cheese and crackers, and an unseasonably cool breeze in the air, I spent time simply watching the world go by.
There was something about the historic inn, the cool Maine weather, and the slower pace that made the moment feel perfect. It was a reminder that adventure isn't always found in places we go, but sometimes in the moments when we slow down enough to enjoy where we are.
